Saturday surge!

Here’s the choicest bodyboarding clips to get you through the weekend, y’all.
There comes a time in every web editor’s life that there are simply too many bodyboarding clips to post separately. This is one of those times. So in the name of efficiency – and to make sure you’re getting your fix of the best stuff around the interwebs right now – here’s a bunch of clips we’ve been meaning to share with you the past couple of days. Perfect for that Saturday morning hangover or while you’re waiting for your mate who’s always late to pick you up for a surf. First up (above) we have Tasmanian youngster Cohen Thomas with a clip featuring a bunch of waves he scored aged 17.

Above: Next we have versatile Peruvian shredder Pancho Galdos – who finishined sixth on the DK World Tour this year – tearing apart some crazy fun looking waves in Indonesia.

Above: Here’s a Prone Mediah-produced compilation clip of Brazil’s Jose Otavio’s best footage from Itacoatiara scored since 2009. If you don’t know much about Jose he’s an air-fiend who’s pulled a 720 before so he’s right at home in the monster ramps of Itacoatiara.

Above: Next up is Brazil’s Renan Faccini aka The Crow lighting up some Mexican beachbreaks. This is some leftover footage from a two-week trip filming for Brazilian TV channel Canal Off.

Above: Newcastle’s Matt Palmer went to Indo recently and looks like he had a stellar time (keep an eye out for a big backflip).

Above: And finally – for those with an eye for the past – here’s Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall and Jono Ware starring in Darius Devas film Release, which is now about 10 years old. More recently Winston featured in Darius epic doco series Ocean Talk (watch the Winston episode here) so it’s cool to see Winston’s passion for the boog has been unwavering and fierce to this day!
