Putting a nice cherry on top of Amaury’s World Title-winning year, the French national public broadcaster France Télévisions has included Moz in its nominees for the 2014 French Overseas Sportsperson of the Year, celebrating France’s decorated sportspeople from its overseas regions and territories. Moz is up against folks like William Rolle of Guadaloupe, who was the 2014 Karate World Champ; champion women’s basketballer Sandrine Gruda (of Martinique); and Tahitian Michel Bourez, who won a couple of ASP World Tour comps last year. “I’m so glad to be part of the 15 overseas sportsmen for 2014,” Moz screamed on social media. “Vote on France TV website and let Reunion Island and bodyboarding be the winners!” You heard the man, voting page is here.
