Current APB rankings leader Jared Houston has put his world title chances in jeopardy after being knocked out of the Encanto Pro Cultura in dramatic circumstances yesterday.

The South African failed to progress through round six of the final stop of the world tour after a last minute wave by Jeff Hubbard put a dagger in his world title hopes.

The early exit was a shock for everyone on the beach, after Houston was regarded as the in-form rider of the contest, scoring a near perfect 19.10 out of a possible 20 points in his earlier heat.

Houston also scored the only 10 point ride of the contest so far with an excellent air forward to el rollo in his earlier heat.

With less than 10 minutes remaining in his heat, The 26-year-old seemed on course to progress through to round seven before Chilean grom Nelson Flores took the lead with a huge ARS.

Then in the dying stages, Jeff Hubbard managed to snare a last minute flip, which scored high from the judges, putting him into second place.

The early exit leaves three possible world title scenarios:

1: If Amaury Lavernhe wins his Round 7 Heat against Jacob Romero he will jump into lead. If  he wins the Quarter finals, he will win his third APB World Championship!!!

2: If Amaury loses against Romero then Pierre Louis Costes will have to win the Encanto Pro to beat Jared Houston and claim his 2nd World Title

3: If both Pierre Louis Costes and Amaury Lavernhe fail to advance from Round 7 then Jared Houston will become the new 2015 APB World Champion for the first time in his career.
