It was a battle between the Sunshine Coast boys but only one would walk away as the 2016 Mystics champion.

Sunshine Coast shredders Cade Sharp and Lachlan Cramsie were the last two remaining after an epic day of competition at the Mystics Pro today, with Cramsie coming away with the title in an action-packed final.

It was a triumphant return to the upper echelons of the ABA Tour for Cramsie, who missed out on round one at Duranbah due to his commitment to the APB World Tour event in Teahupoo, Tahiti at the same time.

However Cramsie, who now calls the South Coast home, returned from Tahiti last week and was eager to notch up a win at his new stomping ground.

Cramsie took the win in style too, taking out current ABA Tour leader Michael Novy in the quarter finals before defeating in-form Portuguese rider Daniel Fonseca in the semi-final.

Meanwhile, Cade Sharp was also arguably one of the in-form riders of the contest, after defeating tour favourite Joe Clarke in the semis to receive a finals berth.

But in the end it was Cramsie who came away with the silverware, defeating Sharp 15.43 to 12.34.

Meanwhile, in the exciting Pro Junior division, Sydney grom Liam Lucas (14.07 pts) took home the glory, defeating Alex McAlpine (12 pts), Jake Martin (11.16) and Hugh Lucas (9.3) in the final.
